This is intentionally left in flat colors. I'm working with new textures and styles, and I am pretty satisfied with the turnout. A cell-shaded version may be forthcoming, but I'm not sure as of yet. I also have had some trouble with drawing felines, so I turned to a Lion King style to illustrate such a regal feline as Lady Sekhmet.

About the piece:
As a Kemetic Orthodox Shemsu, I was divined a beloved of Sekhmet-Hethert. Usually Sekhmet is rather quiet with me, hanging out but watching at a distance. When she wants attention though, she is TOTALLY in your face about it.

Today is "The Feast of Chewing of the Cucumbers for Sekhmet" according to ancient Egyptian religious calendars. Since she is in festival, she wanted to make sure I was aware of it. I won't be eating any cucumbers today, mainly because it's a fertility festival and I DON'T want any kids soon, but maybe this will appease such a ferocious Goddess.
