Well things are wrapping up story wise, i am aiming for at least two more installments..
In this one the padd's purpose is unlocked. Icefur flies in a proper, but primitive bi-plane but also has to drop hir disguise. Also Mr. Smith shows how far he will go to get what he wants. While i think it fits something bugs me about the last part and being 'rushed' though it doesn't quite feel like that. I have tried to catch all spelling and grammar mistakes but i make no promises at thinking i got them all.

It's not the last you will see of the people in the village. and they will be fine for the moment as the church army is not heading for Otome but directly to Bosp.
As for mr smith, what kept him alive all this time is up in play. He is not taking any chances thus the 'nearly mortally wound icefur's childhood friend, well 'very close' friend, to push hir into doing what he wants.' as for what it is. all i will say is it's 'canon' and one person has already found it out.

I'm not just thinking about the people being left back in the town though.
With so many trying to either bury or discover what was in those pads. One has to wonder if what is discovered in this vault will be able to be recovered or will it be lost because of others fighting over it?
Though considering how close your story follows the 'Canon' CU with this possible future story, one has to wonder what happened to the one human that would have saw this coming and would have tried to prevent this?
Neal Foster was building and maintaining a hidden infrastructure that help the Federation and had colonise with individuals he trusted with life times of experience to help him build them. So what happened to Neal? Was he chased off? Is he still alive in this universe? Is he waiting around somewhere?

a lot better then you would think actually. look at a lot of 'intact' Egyption tombs when they were found. Tutankhamen for example. several thousand years, sealed with only stone, and a lot of the stuff inside was almost like it was when it was put in it. but, i won't make them perfect either. icefur will see some decay, just working on what.
