Firm Super Sculpy on top of armature wire wrapped in floral wire and plumbers putty.

I do indeed!
I've got a length of armature wire for the basic shape of the model and wrap thin gauge floral wire around it both to get a bit of bulk and to help make the clay stick. Plumbers putty is used for small solid masses like the head, feet, etc. and to help bond the wire. Heavy duty aluminum foil is used for bulks like the torso, and limb thickness(also wrapped in floral wire). Then I apply Firm Super Sculpy all around the armature and refine it and bake it until it looks roughly like the image posted above.
