I got a call at 10pm that day, It was raining something fierce outside. Lightning flashed and illuminated the night sky- and as I looked out the windshiled of my patrol car I realized the storm clouds seemed to be like an omen, looking at them they were so dark, so menacing-
something was going down.
"Denevere are you there?" Came the voice over the CB.
"What is it? I'm here" I replied.
"Theres a robber headed your way- hes killed about 3 women and hes out for more blood- think you can take him?"
I let out a short laugh - "Of course I can-" After the boss gave me the schematics on the case I saw a green sedan drive by- That was him- I turned on my lights and gave chase-
We hightailed it across town until he crashed through the gate of a nearby factory- tire spikes ruined his tires and forced him to get out of the car and run on foot- Not wanting to ruin my own car got out and chased on foot as well- I wasnt going to let him get away-
I pulled out my gun and ordered him to stop at the moment a bullet whizzed by my head and hit a nearby pole-
I heard the sound of Shattering glass and followed him into the building as I broke through the same window he had entered- I was soaked- and I knew I would make alot of noise running on concrete But I decided that wasnt as important as catching this guy-
He turned and Aimed his gun at me and I aimed mine- We were at a standstill-
Finally I raised a foot and kicked him in the jaw- His firearms went off and the bullet hit a nearby ceiling light shattering the bulb inside- I pistol whipped him as I grabbed him by the hair and tackled him to the ground-
Suddenly out of nowhere I was blindsided by a what I could only faintly tell was a large 2 X 4.
And when I came to he was gone- Nothing but Rain.
Dammit... I let him get away..

Crappy attempt at the story behind this picture I know XD And yes- that is my fursona- Her name is actually Denevere- not Serra- no biggie though- either one works ^^
