Not too long ago, Haiku was a duty in my creative writing class. It can be linear, of a burden to construct, sometimes, but it can also be infinite and dexterous.
I like where your poem takes me. It's like a casual visit to an unknown region of familiar customs. This is very calming and hydrating to read.

Linear definitely would be a good way to describe haiku, since they are so small. I like them, however, as it gives me a bit of a reprieve. It might be my loose thinking of writing, but I find them rather easy to write. Just letting my words trickle from my mind to my fingers and onto the keyboard (and I really need to start writing in a book or some such). >.< And I should reprimand myself for such quick posting, forgetting the song I was going to link that let to my poem.

Oh, there you go! I know Chrono Cross - it has always been a game that I wanted to play, but I was urged by relatives to play Chrono Trigger, instead. I never did.

Both, I will say, are good games, though only truly related at the ending of Chrono Cross, where the plot is unfolded all at once. Currently beat Chrono Trigger again on an emulator, and almost finishing Chrono Cross for...maybe the fourth time.
