My first submission from Anthrocon: the official AC flags over the convention center taken from the Monongahela Incline south of downtown Pittsburgh, that is why the buildings obscure the Center itself. Sorry for the lack of sharpness but I had to go into the camera's digital zoom to get this close (35X, optical zoom was 30X).

I may try and get a better shot this year with the new camera I got as this scene will be be within its optical zoom range. Check here for the equivalent zoom of a lion at the Bronx Zoo June 2013 (the picture is 80% the size of the original): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10797671/

Next time, keep the optical zoom and enhance it on the computer.

I gave this camera (Kodak Z99) to Bowen. I have a Canon SX50 HS now that can do this shot optical but the flags were not that visible last year. Plus I'd need a tripod. Maybe this year.
