This was my first fursuit that I made for my little cousin Jojo.
Her favorite character of all time is Timon the Meerkat.
So she asked me if I could make her a halloween costume.
We both knew it wasn't just for halloween, she wanted one that she
could run around in. So here it is.
I made the costume out of fleece, because she's only 9 and fur is too hot/expensive.
The eyes aren't normal fursuit like eyes because they were made to be very easy to see out of.

That was VERY nice of you to make this! When I was a kid, I would have been THRILLED to have a cousin like you who could make stuff like this for me. I really liked Disney animal characters, but I was frustrated that all the "official" costumes feartured these open-faced hood heads that made it look like the character was eating you. So even as a kid, I wanted something more like a fursuit.
I think it came out pretty well, especially for a first fursuit. It's appropriate for a child but actually retains the look of the character.

I can't stand the open faced masks either. :(
I tried really hard to keep it close to the character. n//n
She's very sweet and I wanted to make her wish come true,
because I know how it feels to want something that seems so
impossible to have. n//n
