Well like I said you probably need some downtime soon. Its' healthy for every artist to do such to help keep up their vigor, I have no idea how JailBird does it in all honesty. But yeah take a break sometime. And good job with this piece. ^^

If I might ask-- what are the main tools you use, when using Sai? I've tried painting in that program before, but everything I've tried has never 'worked' for me. :P

I mostly use the brush tool with no filters on it (though there are those 4 overal brush shape buttons and I do use those) but i've adjusted the settings of the brush to get it to cooperate with me. I used more brushes than normal with this one and also used the crayon tool in a few places as well as the oil water (for blending the BG colors) and the airbrush. I mostly use the airbrush for special effects or adjusting brightness. However normally its just the brush and touchups with the airbrush.

That is very cool. The attention paid to the lighting and the obvious brush-marks give the work a great atmosphere. I get nervous just looking at it.
