I used to live in Asia and every year dragonflies would come out by the millions in the summer months to mate. They flew over you like little fighter planes, darting in and out and up and down. Their buzz was present all the times except during the darkest night, and then one day, they would all just vanish and the only thing left would be the autumn leaves dancing noisily at your feet.
