This here is a little home made tractor that my great grandfather made in the 1940s out of a Ford Model A transmission and rear end along with a Le Roi two cylinder engine.

The tranny is a 3 speed and will be a good project for my dad and I to fix up. It has the original fluid filled tires that have never gone flat!

We hauled it on our small snowmobile trailer with my mom's van from Des Moines Iowa after we meet with my dad's side of the family.

We also hauled another Le Roi engine with the tractor and greatly underestimated the weight on the trailer because the tiny wheels couldn't handle the weight on the trailer. We guess it to be over 12-1500 lbs we were hauling on it!

We stopped many times to check the trailer tires so that we didn't have a blow out, one of the stops we moved the tractor and other engine more towards the front of the trailer which allowed us to drive at 45mph.

Once we got back to Minnesota some of the roads were wet and that helped out to cool the tires, Once we reached St. Michael we stopped by a gas station and refilled up the van.
