I cried when my sister texted me to tell me of his passing, and the tender care he needed his last few days, before he died in her arms. Brought me right back to my first skunk, Mycroft, who finally had to be put down, aged almost 9 years. Congestive heart failure. I stayed with him, while he was given gas, and finally a needle. There was also my skunk Dutch, who arrived with distemper, and died shortly afterwards.
