Megan Giles makes some REALLY neat characters; I was going to try to stitch one of her 'betta babes' (fishey girls) to show with the mermaid display I have in my bathroom, but when I saw her new luna moth, I said to myself, I've GOT to have one of those hanging in my bedroom!
I kept the blue and white colors that she used on her original sketches; I think they help to give her a luminiscent effect especially on a dark background. The cotton thread gives her a 'fuzzy' appearance too.
And Yes, I now have her hanging in my bedroom ..... No, No, she's not hanging on the wall ..... She's hanging in midair suspended by thin fishing line from the ceiling!
