Izitir is that rare breed of Gnoll who is actually somewhat noble. She serves whoever happens to be master of her tribe first and foremost, whether it be one of the minor dieties the Gnolls are known to worship, an intelligent monster such as a dragon or coatl who has pressed her tribe into service, or even some evil sorcerer who has enslaved her people. But she always serves these masters in such a way that it ultimately benefits her people. Because of the...'loose' moral system enjoyed by the Gnolls, her Paladinship is not hindered by codes of honor that are quite as strict as those imposed upon Paladins of other species, but she still has guidelines to follow.

When not in service of some higher power lording over her people, she most often functions as a monster hunter, slaying the dumb beasts who would attempt to prey on her tribe, or misguided adventurers who think they can profit from raids on nonhuman encampments.

Gnolls generally do not get along well with the other races, who tend to look down on them... but as a Paladin Izitir is sworn to set these prejudices aside when it can benefit her people. When a threat to the greater realm presents itself, and it also happens to threaten her people, she'll often team up with mixed groups of adventurers questing to troubleshoot the issue. It is not uncommon for her to form lasting friendships on these adventures.

If you are wondering whether or not a Gnoll is right for you, keep in mind that they do not play well with furniture and tend to be raunchy, drunk, and bawdy. This one's pretty decent though, even if she might seem a little rough around the edges. :3))
