I wrote a fanfic. And yes, it really is a fanfic - which means you shouldn't read it if you're not familiar with MLP and its ensemble cast, or you'll be quickly confused and overwhelmed.
It's also my first story in years. I can pick this apart forever and keep editing it, but since I've done this entirely by myself I need to check myself and just publish it already. The sequel will be better, though this is supposed to stand on its own, and hopefully can be touching too.
It's about Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. It explores Scootaloo's perception of her idol Rainbow Dash, as well as challenging her hopes and dreams. In addition to the interpersonal strife it also features a healthy dose of adventure and action.
