I saw some good shows as a kid too, though they were mostly overshadowed by shit like Hotel Sooty, Sonic X, or whatever kind of live action crap CBBC was churning out at the time, seems now they're even worse @.@
Good ones I've seen as a kid were Dave the Barbarian, that I don't think a lot of people knew about at all (which is where I think I got the influence for some of the whacked out humour and jokes for movies and vids i've made x3 ) and a few Pinky and the brain eps that would show on a rare occasion among other things.
and yeah, I'll check em out when I can, been sorting out my shelf of films so it's not so jumbled xD

Shame there were so few episodes, I think there were about only 30. I saw it on a show called "Diggit" or "Diggin-it" I'm not sure, I just remember there was a guy in a giant orange chicken suit inbetween the cartoons they'd show O.o
Though the odd thing was, we recorded pretty much all the eps on VHS from episode 2, but on Diggitt's last ever show before it was canceled, they showed episode 1, so we eventually recorded them all, though in a strange order x3
And yea, Animaniacs is awesome, it was really cool when I found that Pinky and the Brain DVD set for a fiver, didn't even think it would work since it was a US DVD x3
