I commissioned besavampiresa on dA in my preferred method- giving the artist I am commissioning a list of ideas to choose from, and letting them pick the one that they like best and would most enjoy drawing. I do this with most people I commission, and honestly, I find that it works better, because if the artist is drawing something they enjoy, then the whole commissioning process is that much more awesome. :)
I love how you can really tell that I'm holding my breath! And she did a great job on the underwater scene. :D
