Reposting because I want to try to get a bigger pic up


This is the second time I've tried digital painting, and the first time I've tried it with my tablet. Tablets make a load of difference.

it's not as amazing as others I've seen...but I'm really proud of this. In fact I'm tearing up a little. I usually always get my folks a card that I make for special occassions, but this time I wanted to try something different with some new skills. I wanted to get him a new pot for shrimp since I screwed up and lost ours on a catering trip...but I couldn't really find any that looked reliable, and alot of them were a bit unaffordable...

I just wanted to make him something nice...something glorious...I couldn't paint this on a canvas because I didn't have the time or supplies...so I tried to speedpaint again...and gosh...I am so happy with it...I want to get it printed out as a high res image and frame it for him. I really do love my dad...I do...I don't think people realize how much I do. I am so close to him, and would do anything for him. I'm a huge daddy's girl...I may have grown up, and maybe sometimes I get really mad at him or vice versa...but I've always wanted to make him proud. I really look up to him and the way he lives his life. I've never seen him happier, and I want to continue to see him happy. I'd do anything to keep him smiling.

I love you, Dad. I hope you like this, but I am eager to show you later on today. I think this is 4 hours work well spent. I should have filmed this as a video draw...it would have been a great bonus.
