Being from LA, we see the ISS for a minute or so at best, but in the darkness of Lucerne Dry Lake we witnessed the longest pass of the International Space Station we had ever seen, somewhere on the order of 6 to 7 minutes.
Even though we work with the ISS practically every single day at my job, we're still awestruck knowing we're watching 6 people inside a facility bigger than a football field moving at 17,500mph.
