These are some of the concept doodles I was doing for the mimic drawing. Honestly, I love the face I did on the lower left, and if I hadn't muddled up the body, I might have kept it.
Some different angles to shoot for, though I am trying to find ways to make more eye-grabbing stuff with more interesting perspective, so I didn't use the side on. It was more for me to think in pictures.
Lower right though was what would have been the end of a image series if I did it as such. The bunny fully encased, the mimic will only leave behind a black/gray hollow shell of what was once a rabbit girl now modeling the very sweater that consumed her as it awaits the next victim. Quite possible a second monster sells off the 'mannequins' once they are no longer needed for even more profit.
