I wanted to draw a vulture, so I was doodling around last night and when I came out with this guy I was actually really satisfied. He's an egyptian vulture (doesn't have a name yet) who I'm thinking of making some sort of drug addict. That's really all I have on him right now.
LOVE drawing this body type though, so I might make him a regular of mine.

Heroine is a much better drug to stick someone on than Meth- the degradation effects are a tad slower, so you can develop the character much longer before their heart stops because a 3cm large chunk of brain has decayed into the hypothalamus. However, his skinniness and sunken eyes seem to indicate more of a cocaine addiction with a touch of heroine usage.
You could probably sneak some ecstasy in there, with average consumption rates of alcohol, marijuana and tobacco. Meth however is pretty far out for the average druggie, mostly due to the problems in manufacturing and distribution. But that's just my quasi-professional opinion.
Otherwise, I'd love to take him home, he's a cutie.

I strongly recommend a little basic research into both the effects of commonly used street narcotics and the stages of progression. You can find the real-general outline on wikipedia (like so: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroin); your local Library may have a textbook on similar subjects, which is a highly valuable resource.
This documentary (a 40 minute monster) has interviews of cocaine and 'crack' users, which is also great (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ2r.....eature=related).
This here is a page of various literature for a recovery group, which can offer some insight into what a person also goes through during the basics of substance dependence (http://www.na.org/?ID=ips-eng-index).
And before I close my dump of links, I'd like to offer my personal experience with a few of my close friends who all have made some pretty impressive (and typically very bad) life choices, my experience with clinical definitions via a Nursing Perspective, and the training I've received through several Psychology classes concerning the effects of narcotics on the brain.
