if you can use either of them that's cool...if not that's cool too...but you got LostLove in there and I always thought she was a cute character...the way she looks in the picture...she's not going to be cute...so I'm interested in reading the comic either way...

lol no one's gonna be cute in this one. The White Queen is the handler for a private military squad. Each member's call sign is related to their position in the group like the pieces on a chess board. White Queen, Rook 6 (the sixth "Rook"), Knight 2, Knight 3, Bishop 3, Bishop 5, and White King. Recruits are referred to as "pawns". I'm very excited to get it going. will probably have the next page out tomorrow or thursday

I like chess...I suck at it...but it's more fun to play than checkers. and I kind of figured it would be mostly serious...for some reason I like those kinds of comics as much as the funny one's. I think mostly because they have really captivating stories.

i love chess and writing comics. I've only done a couple projects that were dark. This one is going to be down right sinister.

That sounds interesting, I'd like to see how my other self in this world will do so here's a low down of my preferred abilities:

Uses a magical 2-handed sword that I swing around like a regular sized sword and the magic of the sword keeps it from killing anything that isn't pure evil or literally non-living both physically and spiratually. So in other words the sword can only harm those things that will draw out their blood while every other living thing that gets hit from this sword is like being hit by a huge stick instead. Basically I don't like to kill anybody or anything but you can make this other me do it if you prefer.
The sword has 4 elemental capables, Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind. Rather than using them like regular magic I just put these elements into the blade of the sword and hit things with it, which is my first flaw of not realizing the swords potential.
I can use magic thanks to this sword, but because I prefer healing things with magic rather than attacking things with it due to my second of flaw of making mistakes alot- like ill-timed defending or dodging the wrong way into the attack rather than going away from it- I barely know any attack magic and I can't learn the advance form of magic. Not to mention magic or any other technique that requires strength from the mind tends to be my weakness when other people use it against me.
I think I'm naive and paranoid at the same time, I'm totally trusting of people who are out in the open, like in a mall or crowded place or something like the internet, but I won't be so trusting if the people I'm meeting is in a suspcious place like say strange mansion in the woods or in an alleyway or some sort other secret-like place.

If these things are too much (or too gary-stuish, though now that I think about it alot of video game heroes are mostly that if they weren't dictated by a cutscene) here's a simple weaker version of me:

I'm normally a magic knight who can control the 4 elements, but I'm not very strong with them or the usual magic. It's up to you to decide if my ablities will grow beyond that or simply stay at the bottom of barrel dispite my variety of skills.
I trust people too easily in nice places (or places I think is nice) and is paranoid of others in danger like places- in the I have my eyes on them but am not going to tell everyone about it fashion.

Basically that's the abilities I would like to have if you're going to make me part of the group you're talking about.

this is a story about a realistic near future private military squad. Rook 6 is a sniper toting a .50 cal custom barret rifle and a special built colt 1911. the role of white queen will be played by a female of course, and while there are other spots that need filling, there isn't any fantasy or magic. The crew is a special forces type team handled by the white king,and then queen. The time period is the mid 2030's. Thank you for your submission, but unless you'd like to simply put in your character's likeness for consideration, I don't really have a spot for you :/
