Starling...when describing someone as a shocking experience gets a whole new meaning!
While I was watching one of those door-opener gifs I had this strange inspiration of an extremely decadent defense mechanism.
One thing led to another and over Starling blowing through her fingers that described a hole, like a soap-bubble stick, I came to the idea of her blowing a kiss...and with her being a creature of energy and her palm-pads being conductors, that creates really neat effects...though you should really be far away enough for her to blow a kiss if she does that...

This is just amazing...and definitely something this character would do. The way the electricity drifts off is gorgeous...and I like the effect of her eye and sigil glowing as well.
