My dnd buddies and I have a Iron Kingdoms game going and we have in it one of my favorite characters of all my dnd characters (just over my thief in our Adnd game who's got a 7 in intelligence and has a mystical childlike idiocy that happens to be brilliance) Tarkanan col is a Nyss gunmage (there are no rules against it and they are only very rare.) who, due to his bright eyes was thought to have been picked out for a special destiny. Sadly the villiage didn't have an honorable way to get him out there to try and find it, so they just banished him. as time went on he met our group at a hiring center for future mercs and ended up leading them in battle against the khadorans, taking massive wounds at the hands of a khadoran widow maker.
He wears a custom made top hat to conceal his kind eyes as they betray his gentle and friendly disposition
