Arkos in the story of the siege of Vraks was the first Chaos Space marine Lord to bring his forces to the world of Vraks. sneaking onto the planet dressed in loyalist colors they walked past the Imperial siege lines and right into the Traitors encampment where they revealed there true selves by joining the war and assisting in butchering whole swaths of the attacking Imperial army by pretending to be on there side.

Arkos' greatest crowning achievement during the campaign was the masterful ambush of the Dark Angels that had joined the war. the Angels of the Lion in there arrogance thought they had complete mastery of a starport that Arkos' forces were known to inhabit and lead a room by room house by house purge of the starport. as they reached the centre the Alpha Legionnaires struck using baits and traps to make the Dark Angels believe they were fighting a much much larger host as well as keeping the firing at brutal close levels making friendly fire alarmingly possible. the force was crippled by the battle but at the same time Arkos' forces suffered terribly in the battle but in the end they forced the Dark Angels to retreat after Arkos himself in single combat nearly slew Grand Master Azieral his victory stopped only by a Dark Angels CHaplain in terminator armour body checking him away from his fallen lord. Having long since run out of ammo and his power cells to his crosiaus dead he could not finish the traitor but ordered the evac of the Dark Angels and there master. the battle was considered a major victory to both sides.

In the end though for all of Arkos' guile it mattered not. towards the end of the war his wish to stay and keep fighting proved his undoing as the Starport was captured from his control preventing his escape and the arrival of The Angels of Absolution who being lead by the same Chaplain who mercilessly body checked Arkos later ran him to ground with this new body of space marines. having wiped out his forced believed to be to the man Arkos himself was captured locked in chains of adamantium and dragged to the dropships to be brought to Fortress Monastery of the Dark Angels the Rock where any and all secrets he knew be it of the forces of chaos or the whereabouts of The Fallen would be pulled screaming from his lips before a merciless execution
