I really like the reflections all over the eyes: I think that might be what actually makes the entire piece

As for the jar, one of the things I've seen done is sort of "bleaching" the colors behind the glass: that is make the shades for things behind glass a little whiter.

i find when making glass look more substancial, draw a reflection at roughly the right angle in usually the form of a streak, of the source/s of light. it shows the curvature easilly and if its at the edges, the outline too

This is very beautiful, your works have been getting progressively better over the last several months, and I think this is one of your best pictures to date. The fur, hair looks softer, and the lines look a lot nicer too. Will have to commission you in the near future when I can better afford it.

I love how you've used some kind of effect to create a 3-dimension lighting up of the pic that conveys a kind of flickering/shimmering effect. Whatever you've done, DO MORE OF IT!

*giggles and hugs* fankyoo..its just multiple layers of multiply and overlay really with lotsa blurring and airbrushing thrown in for good measure. I really actually had no clue what i was doing I was just messing around with stuff

Adorable

On a moonless night, fireflys rise and shine in the forest. Zink was a little black wolf cub who had no problem gathering fireflys. Each was so pretty, and some were larger than other. The only time he had trouble catching them, is if their light relected off his innocent eyes. He collect a jar of them one night. He sat and stared as the ones he collected as others gathered around the ones he trapped. He gazed at one on his finger as it flickered. He wondered if the small bug was trying to tell him something.

Zink noticed all the flys in his jar started to flicker. He took his little paw off the top of the glass. The fire flys flew out all getting out of his reach. They glew brighter and in a rainbow of colors which made The wolf cub begin to giggle and roll over. His night was the most amazing he had ever experianced. His mother and father watched in the distance as their son enjoied himself. The sun would rise soon, but they hoped he'd fall asleep before his dream would end.

Alright, I'll do this just for being so nice. This writting stuff is important to me, I must improve my skill, this is a very good use of my time!
