AKA where the Gardner farmhouse once stood, in HP Lovecraft's The Colour Out of Space.
Yah, I got to start reading some of Lovecraft's stuff last night, before bed, and it was niiice. He really does make things very unsettling, which is niiiice x3
Its great too to get inspired by the same guy that inspired some of my idols, like Junji Ito and Stephen King x33333c
So, to try and do background stuff, I attempted to draw the afformentioned Eldritch Location :D
YMMV on whether I got it ashy enough or not, or screwed around with enough brushes that it looks good or just mashymoo.
I like that tree to the far right though x3
Its based on a haaand :D

This be true, though the Dark Tower series holds a special place in my heart since they're the books that tie every single book he's ever written together. The Stand and Insomnia were also fantastic, though I thought the portrayal of the Crimson King in Insomnia seemed somewhat weak.
