That's fair! While I did look up refs there were some longboard views and views on the trucks I couldn't quite get, so I found myself making some things up. I found myself wish I had one to look at!

I highly recommend longboarding as a sport. It's great fun and great exercise, just try not to fall off!

You at least got most of the hanger and the kingpin/bushings sort of right. You were just missing the pivots. you can see a cross-section in this diagram here:

This picture shows the orientation of how the trucks are oriented on the board:

You can see how the pivot fits in the pivot cup at the outer ends of the board, and the kingpin holds things in place below and acts as the other pivot point.
