Hey look.. it's something that's NOT a commission!

I created this out of pixelblocks http://www.pixelblocks.com They're like legos only translucent, only single pegs and are designed in an interlocking pattern so you can connect them on top of each other or link them together sideways like shown in the picture.

The image is obviously the stolen, every other person uses LJ fox mood icon.

The box was crafted and includes a wound up rope light on the inside to make it light up. Foil was added to the inside to disperse the light more evenly and cable ties keep the rope light in place correctly.

I used glue on the front to make sure the pieces all stayed together and it ended up giving it this.. horrible looking frosted effect in some spots. It made the quality of the product when not lit up look kind of poor, but the pieces don't stay permanently together if you don't do that. You can't see the frosted look at all when it's lit up.

I tried to sell this at AC many years ago, but forgot that I would need a power outlet so I wasn't able to plug it in. The result was something that I dont think people realized even lit up, so it didn't sell. It was kind of disappointing but.. ah well. It's got a permanent home in my room still.

P.S. ignore the nasty looking wall in the background >.< that was in a house we don't live in anymore. Someone blew out a candle too hard and it got ALL over the wall.
