Watercolour pencil picture inspired by my recent trip to New York. The Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building are architectural marvels. They still look as striking today as they did 80 years ago.

Only ever saw a passing glimpse as my plane flew over NYC outta Newark heading for Manchester a few years back. Gotta go to NYC one day.
As always, awesome pic. I like the sky in this one too, dont know why but I... notice it, dont know how to describe it.

The Chrysler Building is as good as it gets in tall building architecture. Have you heard the story about how the top of the building came to be?

To be honest I liked the old World Trade Center. And I have warmed to the new World Trade Center buildings too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though, and the Empire State Building is still probably the most amazing building in that city.
