A new head. Every piece is made completely by me; nothing is pre-made.
The base is made in a sturdy but flexible poly-laminate. It has an articulated jaw, a leather tongue, flexible strap harness inside to hold it in place, and see-through-tearduct view. Fits size 52-54 (in centimetres).
2,500:- SEK
the Buyer is super happy with her new and first fursuit head. ^_^

Usually, if it's close to the sellers asking price, they may contact the bidder and work out a price with them.
For highly desired items, there may be many bidders, there may not be- it depends on who's online when. A reserve price (the 2500 here) basically means that the seller won't let the item go for less than it's worth to them.
Take the Beatles white album- it EASILY sells for upwards of $1000. Some people may not be able to afford that right away, or maybe a collector isn't online. Say the bidding only hits $700- the seller KNOWS the album is worth at least $300 more. Why would they let it go if they could make more? So they relist it. Next time, the bids get to just under the reserve- say $950. The seller would then either a) contact the bidder and see if they'd be willing to pay the reserve, or b) decide that the price is close enough to the reserve, and decide to sell it.
No one would let something they considered valuable go for a price they didn't want to.

This head is nowhere NEAR worth that sort of amount of money. It looks like poor taxidermy work. It's like you didn't use a reference other than somebody else's design, which you rendered poorly.
Better to pull back now before people really start calling you a scam artist and refuse to buy anything from you.

I agree with Emprah on this one. This actually doesn't look too bad, and for what the bidding is starting at, it's pretty reasonable. I've seen WAY worse looking heads sell for more than this.
Fact of the matter is, this is something she's made. She has every right to decide what to price it at. If she doesn't get buyers, or LOTS of people agree that it might be a high price, then she may lower it. I honestly feel the bidding itself starts at a decent price, though, for what the head is.
It's a canine- most furries nowadays are some sort of canine, which already gives her a decent chance at selling it. It's a hard base, rather than foam. She made the parts herself, rather than ordering them, and it has a nice look to it and a moving jaw. I'd rather have this than some of the hideous toony crap I've seen out there. I also think this is only her second or third head, which to be honest, it's pretty good looking for only being a second or third.
