I really really prefer the black and white version of this picture. Heh heh. But I thought it would be interesting to post the steps I take. Not all of them, just some.

I don't ink. It was all drawn on Open Canvas and colored on Adobe Photoshop. No paper was harmed in the making of this picture.

I have to ask, how do you get your linework smoothed out so well before flats? I always seem to have trouble with that. That's why most of my work stays black and white, or the linework looks a little rough.

I'm very careful is all. I pay great attention to the lines.. I almost carve them. It's easier to get everything so clean because it's all drawn on the computer, so erasing doesn't leave smudges. :)
