A number of folks signed a bowl for Fernando. I was asked to bring it to 2 and Kage's show to give to him during Closing Ceremonies. AC is a busy time for me, and it had dawned on me after stopping into Ops that it hadn't left the room Sunday evening.

While chatting with Dev Madan and stopping in Ops to pick up the box of the posters he designed I brought the bowl with me to the Staff dinner. Unsure if I would see Fernando before I left Pittsburgh I asked Jim Martin if he could bring the bowl to him. Jim was more than happy to help.

Jim was going to be dropping off Andy Runton at the airport. He asked Andy to sign the bowl, and later Joe from the Toonseum. A group of us around 2:45PM went over to Fernando and presented the bowl. He was so happy to receive it, and thanked everyone! He had given his person (and last) bowl away to a young girl who had wanted one. Now he had a special bowl with signatures. Fernando brought out a tray of cookies for everyone as a thank you.

Right after I took a group photo of everyone who came with us who stopped into the cafe. This was the last thing I did before saying good bye to folks in the lobby, then took off for home.
