Thanks for reposting this. This traditional western Shoshone ranch home is about 150 years old. It would cost about $0.00 in mud from the nearby creek and just a few days of labor to restore it to usable condition. How many modern ranch homes will still be standing 150 years after they were built? And how many of those could be repaired at essentially no cost? Very clever design and construction!
