Originally this character was going to be another personal character of mine but I decided I'd rather have her go to a caring owner instead. Plus, I thought I'd give the whole adoptables thing a try since I adore designing dragons and I put a lot of thought into my designs to make them unique.
So anyways! Here's the rules:
How To Adopt This Character:
• I'll post a comment below that will be used by the bidders.
• You "bid" by replying to said comment and if you wish to raise the bid past the starting bid you reply to the last highest bid.
• There will be a minimum of increasing each bid by $5 in order to keep things simple but you're allowed to bid more than that if you wish as long as it's in multiples of $5!
• When the auction is over, I will note the highest bidder payment info as well as a high resolution version of the character ref once they have paid.
• If for some reason the highest bidder can't pay, the winner will be the next highest bidder.
What You Get:
• Full ownership of the character! This dragoness will be all your's to do with as you please.
• A high resolution copy of the character's artwork.
This auction will last until this sunday and will end June 24th 8 pm PST. However, if needed and to keep things fair for everyone the auction will be extended 2 hours after each successive bid, but only if it would have otherwise ended.
Good luck, have fun!

no indeed not torture, just intruige, i couldnt ive my characters to the plots of others, because i know them, starting from there past after making there personality and letting there character and flaws shape the body, it is the future owner to this female that i am wary of, so i question it, if only in a mild manner, i am not one to dictate to others, though curiosity is what drives me, so i asked and with that learn. but to recap, in my own words, your teling me that the apeal of this, is to offer a body, fully drawn and materialized, to an owner, that that owner may according to there desires shape the personality of this body and the events around it to there whim, or in essence, create a nameless character with no personalty to feed the needs of an owner. or putty in ones hads to shape in the desire of the creator.
is that so?
is that so?
He doesn't know, that's the point of adoptables. They're a very common thing, you like to create the characters stories, us as illustrator/designers sometimes just like to create a visually appealing design, and have no other real "use" for it and don't want it going to waste because we put time and effort into it. I understand your view is different than ours, but try to understand that it's no better or worse, just different.
an intruiging idea. not one i think i can manage soon for myself. but then maybe writing and drawing are diferent in there creative realms, when i write, i write to be close to those things i create and place some part of myself in them, it is dificult to think of selling them, but then i see the apeal to it as well, i know not everyone is like me and i respect that as well as enjoy the many nuances of diferences i run across, they provide me with greater understanding, but for me, this would be a hard thing.
I love the character design and in the stories I write Dragons are thought to be a myth.. there are 4 worlds in this story, 1 of the earth and 3 that are "within" or out of phase with the earth itself like multiple dimensional worlds out of sync with us..Dragons live on the magical world, but some slipped through and are coming out into the light so we know they exist. It was not going to be warr'ish or anything . Mine they are treated as a respectful race and species.
I was pondering a green dragoness. Green with blue/purple accents perhaps. I most certainly am a fan of earthy and creamy colors though! And yeah... so true. Blue especially I think.
A yellow would be interesting! Definitely don't see many of those. I'd love to try out a yellow and purple combination :>
