Here is a portrait I did for my dear bro
acommonmisconception since he kindly asked if I'd like to try to draw a headshot and I came up with this =3
Coloring such large fields with markers is quite hard I must say, it is easier for me to color full body pics on that size of paper (8,5x11,5 inches around).
I hope you like it, especially you, dear foxy bro =3

When looking at THIS portrait, I really have to compare it with the other "Keane" artwork:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6761681/
^__^ Ok, what can I say?
First of all, it's a very nice "bust shot" - a typical portrait composition. You did well NOT to pay attention to a very detailed background - 'cause this would always distract the viewer from the most important part: the face.
It seems that Keane is a liiiittle bit younger in this portrait. That's not a bad thing. Maybe, it's because of the unsual size of this artwork, dunno.
But I guess you have not done lots of portrait works and even if I would (!) call you a "beginner" in this subject, you can still surprise by this wonderful result.
The most difficult part about a portrait: the face and the direction of the eyes. EYE CONTACT!
It IS convincing here and reminds me of typical portrait photos. ^^
Aside from the nice looking face, you also paid attention to a very well trained body - veins and muscle strings inclusive! ^^ BUT yeah, you're the "muscle fox" artist, so it's splendid. AND Keane is a beefy guy, after all.
I do admire the large areas of colour! At first I thought you should've drawn the parts more "fur like"... with some strokes to give a better appearance of "fur". That WOULD HAVE been a possibility, yes... but it's not neccessary.
In the end, the colouring style reminds me strongly of anime artworks - which I love - and it also proves that you ARE ABLE to fill large areas by hand!! AND NOT by clicking a mouse button and then "Yes, it's filled alright!" :D
THIS MEANS: HOOOOORAY for TRADITIONAL ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess, I can't surpass this statement now. So I will just rest my case and finish the comment with:
Lovely, colourful, appealing and sweet furry portrait art!

You know that I always look forward to seeing your artwork and, yet again, you've done an amazing job with artwork :) This is great and, as always, a lot of wonderful detail in this :) So, if someone gives you a good enough idea....you'll do an artwork of their Anthro......hmmmmmm, Furvus Wolf has to remember this.....just kidding Darkfox bro Great job on this again
Terrific striated pectorals and what well defined vascular bulges! Thick and vascular and like absolute zero fat, completely taut fur. He's an adonais of masculine beauty and strength as well as well-developed size and thickness... a bodybuilding ideal in what we usually feel is a runt of the canine kingdom, the fox... I'd put this guy up against a werewolf any day.
Finally got to comment here, dear bro. >//////////<... after such a long time
You really showed Keane's beefiness here, even though we could only see from his chest, shoulders, traps, and neck. >w<... those are some pretty well-developed muscles. XP.. and we could only imagine how the rest of him ideally looks like. n///n
And the size of the portrait, and the closeness of the view, makes it almost as if we could reach into the pic and shake hands with him. X3... that handsome foxy that you drew and colored wonderfully <3
