Okay, I lied. That last picture was my favorite design I did during AC 2012 but this was my favorite picture. I'd drawn  Klavi and his goofball friends before memorably in this picture: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5854287/ and apparently they got a kick out of it enough to come back with another request this year. This was the scenario they described, but it was my choice how to execute it and it was my goal to make sure that each of these nuts had their own little story to tell, with that facial burn being the cake topper that I relished! For awhile I debated whether to actually depict the conclusion of  Daylo's heaves, but I realized that nothing could raise the bitter heat of Klavi's expression quite so much as the fateful recognition of what is *ABOUT* to happen. :) :)

Oh how I wish more of the requests I get could have this kind of personality zing to them!
