A friend and I went on a behind the scenes zoo tour today where we met the three Sumatran Tigers, Oz, Molek and their grown offspring Berani (all three kept seperate, but next to one another in the back enclosures) We saw them get fed Whiskas cat milk through a syringe and helped prepare behavioral enrichment by (my friend) hiding meat through Oz's territory, and me setting out a pile of Rhino dung and rubbing the palms of my hands all over the trees and rocks, leaving my scent for him to find and track around the enclosure. When Oz started finding all the areas I'd rubbed with my hands, our guide said to me 'bet you never thought your scent would attract the attention of a male tiger' XD it was a pretty cool experience, especially hearing the tigers vocalisations.
