For people who know me on a slightly more personal level know that Yoshitaka amano in my eyes is an amazing person. Like...he can fly...and shoot lazers out of his eyes. IVE SEEN IT. I WAS THERE!
Aside from being a brave new god he's also,in my opinion, one of our times greatest real true artist. Note i say our times. im not comparing him to all those dead guys that are awesome to. I met the man in person and tho it was only briefly as he is a very busy man. Just recently ive had this assinment in school that sucks but it made me think inwardly about myself alot. So i started sketching with my tablet. I need the practice. And i was looking at alot of his older works to. So on a whim i started doodling wondering if i could even attempt to capture some of the essance and simplicity in some of his works in my own style. Even in some of his simplest works can be intense powerfull lines. hectic and bold. with soft whisps to even things out. I was actualy very suprised at how this came out. i hope you guys can enjoy it to. In case you cant tell and i really dont expect anyone to see it right away.
