I got a new digital camera and finally discovered how to make makro and texture filled photos, the detail of this new "tool" is amazing! I can finally take photos which have enough "information" to use them digital, so the background of this image is a adjusted and painted over photo I took, the original photo can be found here: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i.....inalFoto01.jpg
The little gryphon, is supposed to be a Blue-Tit squirrel gryphon and painted up from scratch, digitally in Photoshop Cs2 using a Wacom intuos tablet, I painted the little guy in daylight-colors and adjusted him later on to fit to the night mood, I think I wil upload the daylight version as well.. later maybe. ;)
hope you like, this was really fun, painting isn't really my "thing" but it's some nice training in between ;)

Hope it isn't too dark.. my screen has print settings so it's really light...

Very nice piece Miss Lizkay, you darkened the picture rather amazingly (looks natural). The creature is extremely detailed as well. Though I enjoy your name and statement to go with it perhaps the most. Something I would definately agree with. Nearly everything in my past that I remember fondly has been small things, the kind of thing money cannot buy. Small things in the natural world have brought me more joy in my life, than anything I have ever bought or received from society.
