Here is the dog, Twinkie. He is the corgi of my boyfriend's mother and is roughly 9 and a half. My boyfriend took a picture of him in black and white and sent it to me to show me a current picture of Twinkie. I then set out in Paint Tool SAI to try and recreate his amazing eye and soon grew the eye to include half his face. I couldn't stop there so soon the entire dog emerged. To this day the original file is called "twinkieseye.SAI" and will remain on my computer for future tweeking.
