The beauty in your voice is to this day unmatched,
And you wonder why I’ve become so attached,
The warmth in your eyes melts the ice in mine,
Stunning to where I could barely write this next line,
Dreams of you bring upon a pleasant morning,
As if to give my isolation a stern warning,
The smile that greets me at the door is splendid indeed,
And cracks the wall as my joy begins to bleed,
To say your touch is soft is an unfortunate mistake,
As my futile mind cannot describe it for my own sake,
These feelings should be expected perhaps,
When you’ve stolen my heart and disarmed life’s traps,
When you hold me in your arms I feel truly smitten,
As I watch the emotions of my life rewritten,
Even when we cuddle in sweet silence,
I can feel all of my hate stand in defiance,
Yet my heart is softened by your melodious voice,
And the world begins to fall into the rest,
Of your loving touch as the static reaches its crest,
The way you speak to me shows my endeavor isn’t wasted,
What you’ve found has improved and hasted,
The image in the mirror isn’t to be degraded,
To get your attention it mustn’t have been too faded,
If this is a bit long-winded; my mind isn’t exactly rational,
But this is a love I want to travel with you international,
Halifax is complete sitting in this brightened scene,
As the other half of his heart sits beside; his stained heart now clean…
