Well, interestingly enough, there's a legal version of it in America now. First time it's been legal since 1912! They simply used a less toxic wormwood in the process. I bought a bottle, ($50, yikes!! TOTALLY worth it!!^^) Syri was a little leary, but now he's hooked! XD All three of us had an absolute blast with it. We want to get another bottle for friends when they come over. Perhaps not suprisingly, you were the first person mentioned by all of us! XD

Aww JEEZ!! *blushgrins* I first had absinthe in Holland and I loved it. I know some folks can't stand it, but it's just a personal-taste thing; I love sake and plum brandy, too. That stuff's one step away from paint thinner!
