Species Name: Yama
Location: Galaxy: Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC)
Planet name: LMC-M18 (or M-18 for short)
Notes:
Yama live on a world of low gravity. Their bodies are small and light, allowing them to support their long, elegant necks and walk on thin legs.
Yamas are able to float and glide across the land quickly. Some Yamas have large, flowing plumage that may look heavy but is barely anything compared to their body weight. The most common Yamas are plain or have little plumage. Yamas with lots of feathers are next in occurrence and the rarer ones have extravagant feathers, exotic plumage and some even have wings.
Some Yamas have been found to have horns or spikes, these Yama are more aggressive than other Yama. While most species are segregated in sex, Yamas are both and can choose whether or not to have offspring. Because of their small bodies Yama can only lay one to two babies at a time; though it has been seen that both parents can carry babies and do so to pass on their genetics.
With such small bodies, Yamas have compact organs, their lungs are much smaller than humans and their mouths are almost constantly open, filtering in as much air as possible, it’s not uncommon for a Yama to drool from having its mouth open for an extended period of time. A Yama’s saliva is usually colored but it is in no way harmful to other creatures.
M-18 is the fourth planet from one of galaxy’s brighter stars and a Yama’s large eyes gather in lots of sunlight, they have a pair of second eyelids that protect them from debris
So yeah, that’s all I have so far. I’ll have to think up some natural predators otherwise there will be over population in the planet lol.
Yamas belong to me and are only distributed by me, please do not use them without my expressed permission.
