Technically not a commission, but actually a birthday present two friends of mine got for me some time back. The best thing about it is that due to its traditional nature, I even got the original version delivered to me and it's proudly hanging on the wall next to me.
The picture itself is pretty nicely in touch with my Finnish roots, with our protagonist enjoying the national pastime of sauna. Or enjoying to some degree at least, because the silly dolt decided to enter the room with clothes on. That fur can't help either. Oh, but to have proper saunas in the UK, I do so miss them...

Yeah, the usual foreign one then! The sauna back at my parents' place (and the one I grew up with) is a proper old-school wood-heated one, with a stove carrying hot rocks in the corner that you throw cold water on if you want more heat. Really traditional, really lovely. All the radiator-heated ones just lack the special feeling. :(
