Been tinkering with this for a few minutes now and then. Finally got to a "Good enough" point and am probably gonna leave this alone now.
Got an itch to do a few minor appearance changes. Mostly it's just clothing, honestly. Went from something ultra generic to a more Asian-esque jacket with an open slit on both sides from the waist down. The designs on the short sleeves are somewhat similar to a Fleur-de-lis. And of course, there are the embroidered buttons. The shorts have become pants and are baggy around the thighs. The knees are wrapped for support and the rest of the pants are open slit on both sides below the knees. There is also a wrapping around his middle instead of belt, more similar to a sash. I'm toying with the idea of having something for the feet, but it's a little hard to design something for digitigrade legs. Perhaps something like spats, but I've not decided.
I've decided that I'll probably keep the wings, but right now I'm not sure how I'll redesign them... They're leathery/skinned wings right now, but I've been feeling like something different. Perhaps feathered wings or energy wings or wings of light or even modular attachments. Lets just say I'm open to suggestions. On that note, the back of the jacket will have a sort of layered flap from the shoulders and neck down to cover the wing attachments or allow for the wings to break through depending on what I settle on.
Other changes are being a little less scrawny and a little more athletic. I've also settled in on the actual shape of the crystals/gems on the back of his hands. They're rounded/polished instead of faceted. He will also be wearing bangles around his wrists, three or four each. Not too sure of the compositions of them yet (Gold? Silver? Titanium? Something else?) I'm also playing around with other accessory ideas: pendants, anklets circlets, badges, belts, tassels.... probably not earrings, though.
It's a work in progress, so we'll see! At least now I have a more or less solid idea of the new look. I'm actually excited about this.

Electro-stained titanium for the bangles maybe, as it has an iridescent oil-on-water appearance. Very pretty, yet light.
Wings: deployable modular attachments is an idea, where the wings deploy a series of vanes which then generate what might be considered hard light or force field and holographic effect larger wings. The entire mount modular, removable, a latch-on, latch-off system, with full neural linking, including sensations, and possibly auxiliary sensory feeds permitting imaging in other sections of the electromagnetic spectrum, and a possible weapons function using gravity and/or light, power for this unit coming from a Hawking microsingularity generator.
