Finally got my Toothless quadsuit to the point of being wearable, after two long years of WIP. Had two test runs at Jafax. It was a blast! He still needs a lot more work before Youmacon, and some better photos. More photos to come, as I will be in 4th of July parade in my tiny hometown ^^
His wings are extended in the photo and are connected to a button on my stilts to open and close them His mouth also has a button to open and close it, but it severely needs adjusting to make it move better. Vision is out panels on the belly and through a camera in the forehead.
Huge thanks to all of my fantastic entourage of handlers, including my friends, family, and most of all my sister shown here, who is the best handler I know. And I couldn't have made this amazing costume possible without the technical skills and funding from my biggest fan, my father.
