So, awhile ago my poor little baby Numa fish died T.T I wasn't TOTALLY sure about getting another betta after that, but then today I saw this amazing little baby and just HAD to get him! <3 He's a beautiful Delta male, and his colors are much more vibrant in person! His body is much more blue! <3 He reminds me of a little sunset or sunrise, so I'm thinking of naming him Zori, which means Dawn in Romanian apparently! I also desaturated the stuff around him some so that his colors showed more brightly XD
Just wanted to share! <3 I needs to get him plants and stuff tomorrow! XD

He does! <3 They all have such beautiful fins! And I have him in a starter tank that I'm now considering getting a bigger tank and where I could put one o.o And other things...Like how to maintain the temperature better o.o;;; I've heard bettas can live up to 10 years and I don't want this baby dying before he absolutely has no more time left! >< After my last baby died I've gotten very paranoid ^^;;;
Ah I see, I'd definitely get him something bigger then, I think 3-5 gallons should be the minimum, but outdated info on these guys dies hard lol
Also ignore what people tell you about them not needing a filter, they can swim in the current just fine, I've kept them in 10 gallons with reasonably sized filters with no issues before =3
plus if you get something like a 5 gallon or bigger, you can divide the tank and have multiple males.

I personally like a brand of heaters called Hydor, never had a singe issue with one.
Oh and plants, either use silk or live, plastic ones tend to rip up their delicate fins.
Hopefully you knew all this already, but if not I hope it was helpful =3
