Oh god... This picture nearly killed my Paint Tool SAI...
In Defiance of her sister, Princess Luna refused to lower the moon. Hurt by ponies fearing and sleeping through her night, her jealousy for her sister turned her into a monster.
I wanted to draw my take on her transformation.
I debated for a while if I should make Luna bigger or not. On one hand, I like how this makes the moon look very large, showing how powerful she must be to keep it in the sky, but on the other hand I almost feel like she seems very small compared to the whole canvas. I couldn't decide so I just left it... D:
I was also worried that she would look too dark. I hate having a light source behind a character... I just hope you can still see her.
Hopefully it still looks okay though!
