I have a rat who has very clear membranes over the eyes, so if you see them at certain angles, it's like a glass bubble, not a black blob like rat eyes usually look like. Maybe all rats are like this, I don't know... x3 But, sometimes one of the eyes fills up with red, and then the clear glass bubble part is red! I've asked around and no one's quite sure what it means...and I can't get a good photo of it. x3
