Peaceful... This Is Really Great...

Thanks! I had a lot of fun making it; my favorite part is probably the ending. The somber pianissimo chord in the upper strings, arpeggiated over by the harp and texturally modified by flute and bass as it progresses. I spent a lot of time on that! And, well, all of it.

That actually was really great. Are all those live instruments?

Thanks! And, it depends on what you mean by live. The instruments are sampled, meaning a live recording is taken of each instrument playing every note it can, sometimes multiple different ways, and I then put those sounds together and modify them in order to create this.

A recorded, static note sounds fake when you try to use it in something like this, so I have to carefully modify every note in order for it to sound decent: strength of attack, dynamic gradient, etc.
